Boudoir and Maternity
Boudoir: Sessions limited only by your imagination! Taken in your home, a special hotel room (think romantic, elegant, classy, etc) or my home studio .... these sessions are a gift to your husband/partner, yes -- but also for you. We will incorporate your favorite hobbies (or his), gear, clothing, etc.
Investment: $425 includes all digitals & take $100 off print products (suggestion: beautiful custom designed 8x8 photo book)
Maternity: Typically, maternity portraits are taken when you're between the 30th to 36th week of pregnancy -- to showcase that nice round baby bump.
Together, you and I will style your maternity session so it captures you. Are you drawn to outdoor maternity images -- the ones in a forest or field of flowers? Or are you more drawn to the moody indoor "fine art" portraits? I'd love to do both with you! One option is for you to come to my home studio for a beautiful creek background and then we'll move indoors to capture your little family in front of a white, natural, black or grey background for a more stylized look. Another option is for me to come to you -- your home, garden, or favorite spot.
As to what to wear, I'll cover that during our consultation but most of my clients enjoy a combination of fully clothed and artistic nudes in their portraits. I encourage you to bring whatever you feel comfortable wearing -- I love those formfitting bodycon dresses (check out Wolford lingerie) and have a few items here I can provide you with. Honestly: the simpler, the better. Classic, elegant lingerie & maternity skirts, bandeau tops create beautiful, timeless images. I have some lovely maternity dresses for you to try here, along with flower headpieces, crowns, etc. You are welcome to bring accessories, as well -- flowers, hats, boots, jewelry -- it's all good. We will review this & talk ideas during your consultation. Ask me about print and product packages for maternity/newborn sessions, too.
Investment: $425 includes all low resolution digitals and $100 print/product credit (suggest soldered silver folio box or beautiful 8x8 photo book)
