We met up with the Z family on October 7th for an amazing family portrait session at Adobe Alviso Park in Pleasanton, California.
This park is perfect for family photography and does a fantastic job of creating little vignettes for pictures. The park is designed as an interpretive park that looks back at the history of the area, including its natural history. The whole idea of the park is to go back in time in the Amador Valley, looking at Native American times, the period of Spanish Rancheros, and even more modern history.
When we got there for the session, the park was sporting some amazing colors as the fall leaves turned, and it had a pumpkin theme going on. It was the perfect place to get some autumn shots of this beautiful family. Fall is such a wonderful time for family portraits, especially when the leaves begin to turn. It allows for such vibrant, rich colors in all of the portraits.
The Z family had two adorable boys who were 6 and 10. These two loved getting to go around the park and pose in the different vignettes. Our favorite image from the session is probably of the little 6-year-old ringing the bell. You can tell he was having an absolute blast with it. His smile and curiosity was so precious.
Z family, thank you for asking us to be your family photographers. We’re so grateful that you trusted us to capture this time in your family’s lives and hope that you will hang these images on your wall or put them on your mantle to enjoy for years to come.
