I can't believe we're in April already!!!    How can this be?!   As I see time flying by, I think about the people in my life, and how I don't see them/hug them often enough.  I just spent a wonderful week with my daughter, two sisters & neice in Mexico over Easter break ... and it just went by too fast.  We were in paradise (really! if you haven't been to Playa del Carmen, GO!!!)

 Now that I'm home again, I'm thinking about these lovely women, and how much I treasure our time together. We are all spread out -- one sister is in New Mexico, the other in Minneapolis, my daughter is in South Lake Tahoe, and my neice is in Alberqueque.  We are too far apart!!!!  I thought long & hard about bringing my professional camera with me to Mexico, but decided against:  I wanted to just enjoy our time together and be on vacation.  I'm a little sad now, though, that I didn't bring it -- there were so many wonderful photo opps  and really, the iphone doesn't cut it.  oh well :)

A few years ago, I was back in Minneapolis and DID bring my camera with me.  We were all gathered at my sister's home, and decided to take portraits of all of us, in nuclear family groupings.  I took husband & wife, mother/daughter, cousins with grandma, etc.  I've inserted a few here for you to see.  Will you have a time this spring or summer where you will all be together?  I highly recommend hiring a professional photographer to capture everyone for you!   It doesn't have to be me -- but spring for a professional photographer to capture beautiful, lasting portraits for you and your loved ones.
