Hello from Central Oregon (or should I say SNOWEGON?)

It is absolutely beautiful here in Eagle Crest, the snow creating a magical winterland.   I've been making friends with some wonderful neighbors and exploring my new home.  I look forward to sharing my adventures with you.

Meantime, here's what my life looks like today.  I don't go far from the house, as the snow is hip deep (and I'm 5'9!) . I have to shovel a path for my little rescue dog, Walter, to be able to do his business :) . Walter is all of 10 pounds so gets lost in all this easily.   I wonder what a wall of snow looks like; reminds me of the parting of the red sea!!
